Each week I want to pass on some of the little things that have inspired me on social media, things I've read or listened to, things I've learnt, moments that impacted me and the things I am most grateful for during the last week. These are my Friday Favourites:
1. What I watched ..
James Clear is an author, speaker & expert on behaviour change whose work has been used by teams in the NFL, NBA, and MLB. He is the author of NYT bestseller Atomic Habits. This is a powerful conversation with Rich Roll on overcoming bad habits and adopting good habits with staying power.
2. What I read ...
We all complain. Even if you think that you are the most positive person you know, you still complain sometimes. We also probably know people that spend most of their time complaining, which in turn happens to bring every one around them down. Help is at hand though, this article form Tiny Buddha looks at 10 ways to overcome those negative thoughts and focus on finding more on solutions.
3. What I liked on social ...
I love theses illustration from journey_to_wellness They have so many great illustrations to help with your mental well-being, really worth checking out.
4. What I am reflecting on ..
Often the story and meaning we give to things are far worse than the actual thing we are faced with.
5. What I am practising ...
“Mindful Moments - Head, Body & Heart.” This week’s practice is focused on creating a moment of self-awareness. This can be useful when you need to quickly understand what kind of mental and emotional state you're in and how to best proceed
That's it for this weeks Friday Favourites, if you have something you want to share, or any feedback on these favourites you can leave a comment on my Facebook page or follow me on Instagram.
